A variation of our Hydril Pressure Control Hydril Pressure Control GX annular BOP, Hydril Pressure Control's Annu-Flex combines either a single or dual subsea annular blowout preventer with a maintenance-free, flexible underwater riser joint. Together, the BOP head/flex joint combination reduces overall stack height and requires fewer stack connections. Additionally, the Hydril Pressure Control Annu-Flex offers rapid and economical maintenance, simple and reliable operations, and long service life. These benefits can be attributed to its distinctive design and distinguishing features which include:

• A flex joint design that eliminates friction that causes binding and galling as well as the need for lubrication and pressure compensation commonly found in ball-type designs.
• An elastomer element, the key component of the subsea flexible joint, is permanently bonded to an inner housing and outer ring.
• A guide ring/wear bushing absorbs through-the-bore wear during normal operations to protect the elastomer element and the main housing.
• A housing/latched head to retain full working pressure rating.
